In re Cedar Funding, Inc., 419 B.R. 807 (9th Cir. BAP 2009)
Chapter 11 trustee’s statements made in the course of performing his statutory duties were
entitled to the litigation privilege under Cal. Civ. Code § 47(b), and thus the debtor could not
maintain his defamation action against him.
